Scope and limits of IAC

The International Accreditation Center registers and verifies technical evidence within declared scopes. This document delimits precisely what IAC does and does not do, so that every reading of the Registry is interpreted within its real limit. IAC separates training, evaluation and registration, and explicitly declares where its competence ends.

01 · What IAC registers

Technical competence of individuals evaluated within the ISO/IEC 17024 framework, with declared scope, validity and level. Documentary evidence associated with each credential, organized in a traceable file. Recognized external training programs, with a responsible entity and explicit scope. The current status of each registry: active, suspended or revoked, with a declared reason.

02 · What IAC does NOT register

It does not accredit organizations as a state accreditation body: that function belongs to the competent authorities. It does not certify management systems nor issue conformity certificates on behalf of a third party. It does not register official degrees or professional licenses: that competence belongs to universities and educational authorities. It does not record declarations without evidence: what cannot be sustained with documentation does not enter the Registry.

03 · What IAC verifies

That a Registry code corresponds to an issued credential, its scope and its validity. That the evidence presented by the holder is consistent with the declared scope of the credential. The authenticity of a seal or certificate through its public verifiable code. The traceability of the technical decision: who evaluated, under what framework and with what evidence.

04 · What IAC does NOT verify or guarantee

It does not guarantee the future performance of a person nor the outcome of their work after the evaluation. It does not replace permits, licenses, authorizations or sanctions from regulatory authorities. It does not validate facts that exceed the declared scope of the consulted registry. It does not replace the diligence of the third party who makes a decision on the basis of the published information.

Closing principle

IAC registers, organizes and verifies technical evidence within declared scopes. It does not replace regulatory authorizations, official certifications or decisions of competent authorities.
